Just came back from my Aussie trip last Tuesday. It was great. I should thank Hafiz and Azrina for their company and tour around the city. i just cant get enough of their great buildings. To compare with London, Melbourne&Sydney has a lot of modern design buildings. but I can see some similarities between Australia and UK. Hyde Park pun ade kat sana. And yeah, if you've been to S'pore, they are similarities on how the Australian did with their sea side area with whats in S'pores's Clarke Quay.
The total cost for this Aussie trip is RM2134 including flight tix (return M'sia+ Sydney), accommodation, shopping and everything. Slightly cheaper that UK. You can actually save a lot if you plan your trip a year ahead. and another tips, you should choose your travel mate wisely because people act differently when they are traveling. and traveling makes you discover your friends true color. kinda interesting.
just after the trip, i passed by a travel agency office during our lunch hour, it was so obvious that i was browsing through their travel packages, all of sudden, kena sentap 'HA! nak pegi mane lagi tuh!'
now everyone can fly..blerghhhhhhhh
insya4W1 nak pegi umrah, baru halal nak pegi tmpt2 lain.kan2..

yup..i've been to Bali last weekend and it was an amazing experience that i would never forget. In my opinion, Bali and Balinese is like India and Indians, its just that, Bali is nearer and Balinese looks like Malays no matter what their religion is. and yes this is quite confusing once we were there, though i already knew about it. if you're a Muslim tourist a wise thing to do is ask if you are not sure about anything. and surprisingly Balinese is a friendly people. They live in harmony despite the differences in their believes. and it proves that it is not impossible to happen here.( all we need is love).
Our trip is very compact because we had only 2 days to visits all the interesting places where a normal tourist would take about a week to finish. we don't even stop to had lunch or dinner. most meal we had is while on the move. Most of the place we visited is actually their temple since Bali's 3.5 million people are mostly Hindu's. but their temple has been localize to their surrounding and culture , differents in what we see in Malaysia. This is when i tried to bring back the memory in History of Architecture. i also asked my Indian colleague about their religion and custom and I found that its quite similar to the Balinese Hindu's. My mom's is skeptic about visiting other religions worship places but I'm more liberal about it. i remember our family trip to Sri Lanka, we actually visited none of their cultural heritage. I think its a good thing to learn about other people culture and custom. You might be surprise of how delicate and interesting their ways of life is.
One of the interesting about Bali that is soooo much different in Malaysia is that they dont have road bullies, everyone drive their vehicle in a relax mood. According to a friend of a friend who studied there, even while you are riding a motorcycle, you can just simply hang your bag at the handle w/o worrying someone would snatch it. And you know what, i don't have to worry about a thing while crossing the road, even a blind man wouldn't need any assistant to do it. Cars would automatically slow down and give way for the pedestrian to cross the road. Totally different!!
About our visits to the temple, visitors need to wear proper clothing to enter, and for women who are having their periods are forbid to enter the temple (macam masuk masjid!) it was so happen i was the only lady who is eligible to enter all the temple but i accidentally enter the last temple we visited without knowing about it and the strange thing was i felt a lil' cold shiver and the heart beat faster. memang la cuak tahap dewa lepas tu..wawawaw..trusin guer bacain surah Yassin (separuh jalan je sempat)......baru lega.....gagagaga
Anyway, we manage to do everything Bali there and I'll consider this trip a success!!!

berhenti di perhentian
abah: gaji ko pegi mane je... berjalan..
me: aahla.. klu dah kawen nnt xleh jalan dah... (alasan semata- mata)
***
i celebrated 2 new years in an island! totally awesome!
my honeymoon are sooo going to be in Perhentian Island.. that beach are so beautiful..masya4W1.
I think one thing that can get our studio member get together is Beach, Sun n Surf.
The trip to the East once again a success. You know how sometimes people change when they are on a trip, but i guess for us, we manage to overcome that and have fun. Of course there were glitches here and there, but overall, the trip was memorable. I love traveling with them because though we were busy having fun and all, tp yg wajib2 jaga..ustaz mirul ada, oda ada..baguih depa..
Kak rose n master G wedding was an unforgettable. they were together back before we were in first year. watching them got married was kinda relief..hahahha at last...fuhhh.. Alhamdulillah
and on the way back i had a heart to heart conversation about life, future and relationship with them and it was kinda exciting..sharing is caring..=P ( im a Doctor love now ok!)
i'm still fascinated by the sealife in Perhentian...
so, who's next in line?
I want to go to Taman Negara and Mt. Kinabalu!

masa.alah
the one thing that always a conflict whenever i'm traveling is whether i'm in to take photograph or my photograph taken. I already set with battery pack, flash gun, 2 lenses for this trip (semangat tu tak tahan.. mekasih ye fendi bendi pinjamkan) but still, i just wonder if ever ended up passing the camera to someone else to take photos. If thats the case, the end result of the photos would sucks. when you are half hearted or confused between two things it doesn't end up good right?
they were engaged 2 years back, i'd blog about it here . They've made my photo as their wedding card picture *smug ( tapi gamba bese je). anyway i like what they wrote on the wedding card. kejap ekk nak google jap.. its a common quotes about wedding but a nice one..
*after 2o mins*
tak jumpa la plak.. but its something about fatimah az-zahra, saidina Ali, about not to become choosy about life partner and all. ( menarik tp explaination ni x bunyi menarik kan)
anyway, i enjoy going to weddings. i received a lot of wedding invitation this year. kena prepare baju bnyk2 nih! heheheh
p/s: it takes two to tango =)

where to?
i came a cross a quote,
“The World is a Book, and Those Who Do Not Travel Read Only A Page”
I said it out loud to mom and gave me the annoyed look. hehehe..
she said, the world is only at your fingertip, u can always google...
nahh.. i'm greedy.. i like both..googling and traveling..
i get adrenaline rush when i think about traveling..
sometimes i need someone to gimme a smack to get me relax..
p/s: sometimes u gotta be cruel to be kind. after all, you are only supporting actor in everyone's play.

It isn't what you have in your pocket that makes you thankful, but what you have in your heart
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light. May good luck pursue you each morning and night
No gift to your mother can ever equal her gift to you - life
The forces in a capitalist society, if left unchecked, tend to make the rich richer and the poor poorer

nex stop....
yeah just came back from bandung yesterday.. and i so love m'sia. bandung is a heaven for shopping.. its a city full of shops. this trip i a shopping trip, so i dont look forward for it, just aiming to buy a new wardrobe. anyhow, what i like about bandung is the food the people and the high land volcanoes area. the shopping is kinda tiring and 'bikin kepala pusing'.. the people are friendly, depan mak aku pun sempat nak mengayat... and the food is totally awesome.. i'm addicted tu pecel lele, and jus alpukat (avocado).. and all the food in bandung used natural ingredient.. aji2 tak main rr...the shopping in bandung is recommended for those whos getting married and all.. dgn kate yg lebih tepat lg seswai utk rombongan cik kiah... the sight seeing in bandung is the volcanoes area..very scenic for the eyes and the nose.. unless u can stand the smell of fart all the way to the volcanoes..sulfur smells terrible but its good for the skin.. overall bandung is ok..but Bali's better..wait till i go to Yogjakarta to compare the three...

Temasek
nak pergi s'pore ni. tapi boleh ke pergi sana tanpa shopping. klu anda mursyidah ismail mungkin perkara ini mustahil. sbb mursyidah ismail itu sendiri rase mustahil. tapi die tetap akan berusaha supaya tak shopping sgt kat s'pore ( tadi kate x nak shoppping skrg taknak shopping sgt..ape nih..baru 2 ayat dah tergugat keimanan).. tapi tapi..haih.. mcm mane boleh tak shopping di kota keriangan itu..ish ish.. agak mustahil...tp akan cuba..ye berusaha.. sbb konsep ke s'pore adala nak tlg aainaa baainaa buat case study dkt clarke quay . tp dia kate nak pegi shopping jugak.. so kn tlg die shopping..wakakkaka.. oh tidak..saya tgh mencari alasan nak shopping..hati kata ya tp otak kata tidak dan dompet kata jangan....
dah2.. hati dgn otak ni selalu tak mau bersatu.. boleh tak korang kerjasama menangani masalah ni!! ni asyik gado je!!!
kali terakhir pergi spore adalah 12 thn dulu.. agak basi ye.. mmg pun.. tu pun sbb mmg duduk JB di Taman Megah Ria, Masai Johor dan Taman Molek JB.. dan Bapak ku mmg lahir di s'pore tp di besarkan di Melaka. so adela saki baki sedara mara di sana.. tp fakta yg plg menarik sekali adalah, nenek sedara guer pernah jadi Miss Singapore masa zaman 60'an.. cool tak..hot nanna.. dia la org pertama yg masa pergi raya rumah die siap bagi ktorg 3 beradik perempuan make-up bagai..sgt chomel kay... dan satu lagi fakta sepupu sepapat s'pore yg agak ketara ialah mereka tak pernah tgk ayam itik secara live.. cuma yg selalu di lihat adalah ayam KFC dan itik panggang di restoran bak kut teh! serius! pantang tgk itik dan ayam pasti di kejar.... bandar sungguh mereka.. tp itu dah 12 thn dahulu.. skrg mungkin mereka dah lupa mcm mana rupa ayam dan itik...
oh s'pore mcm mana la rupa kamu skrg..

I know but what can I do
yeap.. 2009 is a travel year for me indeed. i never thought i would be traveling this much. if i were to listed out the places i had been and the one i already planned and not to mention there would prolly be an instantaneous, spontaneous out of mind trip later- i myself would be blow out of water thinking, did i just did that!!!!OMG...i think this is my mom biggest alibi for not buying me a car. with this two leg i already went everywhere, imagine owning a car, i would prolly be in a quest traveling from malaysia to Agra to see Taj Mahal (see!!!)...
A friend once ask me- aren't you bored with working...u know, its one tough question to answer. Since it is normal for ppl who entered working world being sorta shock in depress imagining that they would be doing the same thing for the next 40 years..gulp..i know that i would be experiencing the same thing. So, i plan. I plan whenever i feel that life sorta bore me to death. planning made me see that tomorrow is a new day to start everything.
to my surprise, my cathexis in planning trips went so obvious when someone offered me to become a travel agent... reality check people!!! i want to be a designer!!!
and suddenly ppl are asking me how to go there, how much do you need to spend to go here, when will air asia going to make another free tix promo.... tp seronok je buat2 mende camni..
so, correction- i'm a designer cum travel agent...hhahahah
*note of a new plan- Istanbul trip with mummy and frens in 2010...taking MAS is so typical and expensive. Try Air Asia- Pegasus Airline. save 50%. and you got to go to 2 places at 1 time....

been there done that
'salam..
before the memories of the euro trip got rotten in my head, i would prolly write something rite? yeap, i've been to london-dublin-paris-dublin-london 4 the past 10 days and it was tiring, fun, an eye opener and made me love my homeland even more..seriously!! the air asia tag line- now everyone can fly really is true. if u got a tix to london, u can go to anywhere in europe for less than rm500 return tix. u name it, paris, barcelona, italy, german, amsterdam and the list goes on. u just need a guts to do it. cannot wait for sum1 to organize it for, it would take years my dear. and travelling in an advance country in europe, there are unlikely to be any problem to get to 1 place.. yeap, setelah ditinggalkan di kota london keseorangan sbb kehilangan passport tp dah jumpa blk, i can now walk in the city like londoners..hehheeh Anyhooo, this tips would prolly best for ppl who studied locally and never went to the world above the sky ( negara atas angin..wakakak) since the ppl studied oversea would ditch this read in the trash..hahahha

its just so damn right...
'salam..
it felt good when someone told you that you are doing the right thing...yep2...a colleague just told me that its good that i have the initiative to made plans and organizing trips with my frens. its a logical way to spend your wedges since you're not attached with a permanent duty ( marriage, family, taxes and stuff)...i couldn't agree more with him..yeap2.. i might not been thinking far enough in this recession time but still its the risk i'm taking...i already planned small trip with friends to Bali and it was so successful though the time spent was actually limited. Another trip to Jogyakarta is in Nov. my first ever brainchild travel is going to see taj mahal. this trip might be next year but i'm still googling on how to get there the cheapest way. from the googling made, the cheapest way is thru Dhaka, Bangladesh then take a bus to Calcutta India, then took a train to Agra. must be a hell off adventure along the way..hahhaha..by using the route it will actually save 70% compare to if you buy a straight flight to Delhi... But still this trip need to be plan carefully....need to save the thought next year..now, need to plan the itinerary for the euro trip. I'm looking forward to this trip since i'm going with mom and sis, so money prob would absolutely be negelcted...hahhahaa. i just need to plan on the places to go....
