the sweetest smile

mohd nor bin abdul rahman is my grandpa. my late grandpa on my moms side. he is tall dark and with the curly hair, i wonder if he had any origins from minang. my mom is not very enthusiast to know about it. but all I know, he is one of the nicest man i ever met. it is so hard not to forget such a man like granpa. he will always be remember as a guy with the sweetest smile. when i was 7 years old, i never actually knew he is actually sick since his smile overshadowed everything. mom said granpa lungs is in a bad condition since he used to be a heavy smoker. but once he found that he coughed blood he stopped the habit. might be that his action is already too late. He and grandma later went pilgrimage to Mekah. he passed away at the holy land without finishing his pilgrims. it was winter at that time. according to mom, grandpa died of pneumonia where his lungs cant stand the coldness.
years passed and i still miss him. if only he was here. all i wanted to say -'granpa, i have your smile'.
